Author Expo!

I have some really exciting news! It's still over a month away, but I wanted to tell everyone right now. I'm going to be in the Kansas City Local Author Book Fair in Blue Springs, MO in April. With only three books published, all pretty small, I was hesitant to apply. But why not? An author is an author?

So I'll have a booth with my three books and some merch! Merch? Me? I never thought this would be a thing. It's really happening! For an incredibly long time, I really thought writing was a dream that wasn't feasible. I had two teachers tell me that my short stories were the best they'd read and yet I still felt like an imposter. I do still when I write sometimes. But writing is a hobby. Many people make money with their hobbies, many do not. Like all hobbies, no one can tell you it's good or bad. An art piece not be in my taste, but could be exactly what the next person dreamed of.

My books certainly won't be for everyone, but they could be for anyone.

I've made a new logo, business cards and I've ordered small merch for anyone that buys my books. I'll also have a few giveaway items at my booth too! Anyone in the greater Kansas City area who wants to come support me and other local authors, please feel free to come. It's free entry and a lot of authors are giving things away plus swag bags!

I'll be there on Saturday, April 27 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
